About Us

Beaudesert University of the third age is a charitable voluntary organization facilitating education and vocational Group interest meetings for senior citizens generally over the age of 50 years. We cater for people residing in Beaudesert and Jimboomba, with reciprocal wrights for members of the Tambourine Mountain and Boonah U3A Clubs.

We do not however discriminate by reason of age and have one or two people under 50 as members. 

Current courses available include interests such as:- Art Group, Aqua Aerobics, Cord Playing 500 and Bolivia, Croquet, Discussion Group, Floristry Classes, French Classes, Gardening (Bugs), Indoor Bowls, Jigsaw Library, Mahjong, Mosaics, Singing for Fun, Tag (Travel and Adventure Group),Table Tennis, Social Tennis, Nordic Walking, Ukelele (Beginners and Advanced) and a monthly social Outing usually comprising  a Luncheon.

We publish our own monthly magazine "OWLS", a copy if available on this web site.
